How To Display A Military Flag
Flying flags is a significant issue in the United States. So there are some fundamental rules you must follow when it comes to that.
- Never fly those military flags or others above the American Flag
- Never fly other flags on the right side of the American flag facing the audience
- The American flag should never be smaller in size than any other flag flying together with it
- On special days, the flag must be flown at half-staff, according to the haff-staff calendar or orders from the President or State Governors.
There are more rules to follow in the US Flag Code, but above are the most important things to take note of.

Every Pump Bear flag is made-to-order:
- Production: 5–7 business days (personalized flags add 1–2 days)

What sizes are available?
Three standard sizes:
- Standard: 3 ft × 5 ft (36 × 60 in) — most homes, garages, indoor display
- Large: 4 ft × 6 ft (48 × 72 in) — residential flagpoles, large walls
- Extra Large: 5 ft × 8 ft (60 × 96 in) — commercial flagpoles, ceremonial use
If unsure, 3 ft × 5 ft works for most situations.
What material is used?
Premium weather-resistant polyester with vivid double-sided print and reinforced stitching. Two brass grommets included for hanging or flagpole attachment. Built to handle outdoor display in normal weather.
Can I personalize my flag?
Yes — and it is FREE on flags tagged "Personalize". You can add:
- Name (veteran or family name)
- Rank or service branch
- Service years
- Custom dedication or memorial text
Look for the "Personalize" input field on the product page. Personalized flags add 1–2 days to production.
How do I care for my flag?
To keep your flag looking sharp:
- Take down in severe weather (high winds, heavy snow) to extend life
- Hand wash with mild soap, air dry — never bleach or machine dry
- Store properly: fold when not in use, avoid prolonged direct sunlight
- Inspect regularly for fraying at the fly end (the unattached edge)
What is your return policy?
30-day returns from the day you receive your order.
- Item must be unused, in original packaging
- Customer covers return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or defective
- Personalized flags are only returnable if defective (custom-made just for you)
