To keep your flag looking sharp:

• Take down in severe weather (high winds, heavy snow) to extend life
• Hand wash with mild soap, air dry — never bleach or machine dry
• Store properly: fold when not in use, avoid prolonged direct sunlight
• Inspect regularly for fraying at the fly end (the unattached edge)
